Dried tarragon leaves are green flakes - aromatic with anise scent. They have sweet licorice-like aroma - mild and herbal. The flavor is sweet anise - slightly peppery and fresh. Great for chicken fish sauces or eggs. Pairs with lemon garlic mustard or parsley.
